HIGH WYCOMBE CC CLUB members Richard Bull, Paul Lasenby and Steve Rouse took part in Roc D’zur mountain bike race last Sunday 11- 10 -09
THE Roc D zur race is held in the south of France in Frejus and is the biggest mountain bike race in France with 5000 riders.
The day of the race was a very hot day with temreatures of over 30 degrees.
The race is 53 k long with 1700 meters of climbing over a very technical course.
There where a great many crashes on the first big descent this slowed things up in the peloton but all HWCC riders where fine and rode well with Paul Lasenby finishing high in the race . Richard Bull and Steve Rouse stayed together to finish in the top half of the race .
I will be sending out the full positions list etc as soon as i receive them.
