100 mile reliability trial 7 March 2010

There have been some changes made to the 100 mile route since last year.

We’ve taken out the loop through Stratton Audley (Northeast of Bicester) and diverted into Winslow.  This change gives riders a chance to have a cuppa in Winslow, Thame and Benson.

Have a look at the new route by going to Reliability Trials – Maps & GPS files

Sign-on is between 8 and 9am.  You may start as soon as you have signed-on.

50 mile hilly reliability trial

This Sunday, 7 February, is your second chance to complete this ride.

Even if you were one of the few that finished last week, why not give it a go?  Bet you’ll be quicker and more reliable.

2010 Reliability Trials

Reliability Trials – Maps & GPS files

The club organises four Reliability Trials: 50 miles flat, 50 miles hilly, 100 kilometres and 100 miles.

We meet at the normal time and place for Sunday morning club runs (9am High Wycombe High St), except for the 100 miles, when you can start between 8am and 9am.

All are welcome and there is a £1 fee to start. A map will be available when you sign on.

The 2010 Reliability Trials will be held on the following dates

50 miles flat 17 January

50 miles hilly 31 January

100 kilometres 14 February

100 miles 7 March

For all but the 100 mile Reliability Trial, riders will be sent off in groups depending on whether they consider themselves to be fast, medium or steady riders. Be realistic when you make your decision.

The 100 mile ride now has a staggered sign-on time to allow you to choose when, between 8am and 9am, you want to start. You can organise your own start time without having to decide how strong and fast a rider you think you are. Why not treat it like a sportive and ride with friends?

There will be more information about the 100 mile route next month.
